Care On Wheels | Primary Healthcare Initiative by Impact Guru Foundation

Care on Wheels

Impact Guru Foundation's Care on Wheels program is its flagship program that provides free doorstep healthcare services through Mobile Medical Units (MMUs) at a person's doorstep. This involves home visits that may make access to healthcare effortless for people who live in remote parts of the country or may need help to travel to a suitable medical facility to get the treatment they need. A patient might not be able to go to a medical facility for many reasons. This could be because of mobility problems, lack of transport, financial problems, etc.

What is Impact Guru Foundation's flagship Care-on-Wheels program for?

The role of a Healthcare NGO is essential. Impact Guru Foundation's flagship Care-on-Wheels program is extended to those who live in the most remote parts of India so they can access affordable healthcare through this NGO related to health. These people may not be able to access necessary primary healthcare. Impact Guru Foundation's Care-on-Wheels program provides patients with health screenings, vaccinations, and testing for blood pressure, diabetes, and other illnesses and referrals for critical cases.

The mobile medical units are aligned to Government of India's national urban and rural Health Missions', providing necessary access to affordable medical services to those who reside in remote or poverty-stricken communities across India. It offers medical services to those in need, benefitting many people.

What kind of Health awareness sessions are done through Care-on-Wheels?

There are different health awareness sessions that are done through Care-on-Wheels through Impact Guru Foundation, which is a Healthcare NGO.
